GROUND SCHOOL

With this six hour class, you will make the transition from tandem jumps to skydiving with your own parachute. During this class you will learn
about freefall skills, canopy control and emergency procedures.

USPA's CATEGORY C (2 JUMPS)

This is your first jump with your own parachute.  A USPA rated Skydive instructor holds on to assist you during your freefall.   In this phase you will
learn hover control (the ability to fall straight down).

USPA's CATEGORY D (2 JUMPS)

Your instructor will release you during the freefall portion of the skydive.  In this phase you will learn how to start and stop turns as well as
moving forward.

USPA's CATEGORY E (2 JUMPS)

This is the first time you will exit the plane without your instructor holding on to you. In this phase you will learn how to recover stability in freefall
by performing barrel rolls and flips.

SOLO JUMPS!
$19 plus equipment rental

You've now acquired the skills to be your own jumpmaster! You've learned all the necessary skills to maintain control during freefall and land your
parachute safely. You can now practice your newly acquired skills by doing solo jumps.

USPA's CATEGORY F through H (3 JUMPS)

In Categories F through H you will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to safely jump with other skydivers as well as obtain an 'A' license.
These skills are acquired through a combination of solo jumps and jumps with a USPA coach.

Short ground instruction to teach you proper body position, reading an altimeter,
and how to pull the ripcord.  You will also be taught how to fly your parachute.
